Die Ballettschule BALLET POINT – Dance Center Vienna, gegründet 2022 von Shoko Nejime und Keisuke Nejime in Wien, bietet eine umfassende Tanzausbildung für alle Altersgruppen – vom Kindergartenalter bis hin zu intensiven Kursen für junge Erwachsene. Mit einem klaren Fokus auf klassisches Ballett und zeitgenössischen Tanz fördert BALLET POINT sowohl Hobbytänzer als auch ambitionierte Talente, die auch Wettbewerbsteilnahmen anstreben. Ergänzt wird das Angebot durch regelmäßige Workshops und Masterclasses, die den Schülern die Möglichkeit bieten, von renommierten Gastlehrern zu lernen und sich stetig weiterzuentwickeln.
The ballet school BALLET POINT – Dance Center Vienna, founded in 2022 by Shoko Nejime and Keisuke Nejime in Vienna, offers comprehensive dance training for all age groups – from kindergarten age to intensive courses for young adults. With a clear focus on classical ballet and contemporary dance, BALLET POINT nurtures both hobby dancers and ambitious talents who aim to participate in competitions. The offer is complemented by regular workshops and masterclasses, providing students the opportunity to learn from renowned guest teachers and continuously develop their skills.
The dance studio Maar has been around for 40 years. Dance for children, teenagers, and adults. Our offer: Pre-ballet from 4 years old, ballet for teens and adults, hip hop from 7 years old to teens, flamenco for children, teenagers, and adults, breakdance, capoeira for children, tap dance, and dance projects for adults. We also offer workshops with guest teachers on weekends in various dance styles.
The dance_company_steyr is a small-scale dance training program for children and teenagers in Upper Austria. Ballet is the main focus of the training starting from the age of 5, followed by methods such as Modern Jazz (Matt Mattox), Modern Dance (Graham), as well as improvisation and Laban Movement, Chladek System. The dancers gain stage experience from the very beginning, which is enjoyable for everyone. The company has already served as a springboard for some dancers to pursue dance studies at Bruckner University or MUK Vienna.
TIROLER BALLETTSCHULE, founded in 1989, offers classes in classical ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary dance for all ages and skill levels. The school provides advanced courses for young individuals motivated to pursue a professional dance career. For many graduates, the TIROLER BALLETTSCHULE has been a stepping stone to a professional dancing career. Over the past 36 years, nearly 60-70 original productions have been created, including story ballets for children, shows, and award-winning dance theater productions, as well as involvement in several TV productions and the creation of various opening shows, such as the Biathlon World Championships, along with experimental co-productions with artists from other fields. The school has collaborated with renowned dancers and choreographers (soloists from Maurice Bejart, Alvin Ailey, David Parson Company, Batcheva Dance Company, Lviv State Opera, Bolshoi, and many more).
Ballettschule Taktgefühl, led by Teresa Mayr, offers various ballet and dance classes for children and adults in Baden and Pfaffstätten. The program includes ballet classes for children aged 4 to 11, a hip-hop/jazz class for children, as well as ballet and general dance classes for adults. The courses are held at the Event Hall Baden and the Clubhouse of the Sports Union Pfaffstätten. Teresa Mayr, a former student of the Vienna State Opera and mother of three children, emphasizes a combination of joy, creativity, and discipline in her teaching. Europaballet
In March 1989, Michael Fichtenbaum, a former dancer with the Vienna State Opera, founded a private ballet school with a focus on professional training. By the spring of 1990, Die Puppenfee was performed for the first time, and Michael Fichtenbaum, along with the wife of the then mayor, Hermine Gruber, founded the youth ensemble BALLET JEUNESSE HIPPOLYTE. In 1992, the school integrated into the State Capital Music and Art School. The foundation for many future successes was laid in 1993 through collaboration with renowned choreographers such as Renato Zanella, Yuri Grigorovits, Peter Breuer, and especially the exceptional dancer Vladimir Malakhov.
KONSERVATORIUM SUNRISE STUDIOS
The goal of the professional, four-year stage training program with public recognition is to achieve stage readiness at an international level in the fields of dance, acting, singing, or musical theater. The courses consist of approximately 30 hours per week and follow a special system oriented towards international successful methods. The focus is on a high practical, needs-based, and contemporary training standard, along with individual support. The teaching team consists of experienced, active artists with extensive stage, film, and TV experience. Additionally, workshops with international guest instructors are regularly offered. The training concludes with a state-recognized diploma, for which students can choose a dance focus, or a musical theater, acting, and/or singing focus. A preparatory year (trial year) is also available. Thanks to the collaboration with a high school graduation program, the stage training at Konservatorium Sunrise_Studios can also be combined with the AHS upper level (goal: Matura).
We are the department of the Ballettschule IRMI responsible for classical ballet training for children and teenagers. Our students are taught based on the English curriculum, and starting from grade 6, they also follow the Russian Vaganova method. To provide our dancers with a well-rounded education, we also offer courses in Pas de Deux, Modern, Contemporary, and Freestyle Jazz. Especially talented students who aim to pursue a professional career in dance receive an individualized timetable as well as coaching for castings and entrance exams. Various workshops with guest teachers from both domestic and international backgrounds complete our diverse offerings in classical and modern dance. During our annual ballet gala, students have the opportunity to showcase their skills to a large audience.
