DieTanzerei was founded in the summer of 2019 by Mara Kluhs in the heart of Perchtoldsdorf – with a clear vision: to create a place where people of all ages can move, develop and discover their joy of dance.

Whether ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, commercial, hip hop, breakdance or Irish dance – everyone can find their beat here. The programme is complemented by soothing fitness classes such as Pilates and yoga, which bring body and mind into balance.
Our goal? To make dance accessible to everyone as a hobby – and at the same time to encourage those who want more. With intensive dance programmes and championship training, we accompany talented individuals on their way to new levels or even professional training.
Because we are convinced that everyone can dance. #beadancer

Europaballet St. Pölten
In March 1989, Michael Fichtenbaum, former dancer at the Vienna State Opera, founded a private ballet school with a focus on vocational training. In the spring of 1990, ‘Die Puppenfee’ (The Doll Fairy) was performed for the first time, and Michael Fichtenbaum and the wife of the mayor at the time, Hermine Gruber, founded the youth ensemble ‘BALLET JEUNESSE HIPPOLYTE’. The ensemble was integrated into the Provincial Capital Music and Art School in 1992. The foundation for many future successes was laid in 1993 with the collaboration of renowned choreographers such as Renato Zanella, Yuri Grigorovits, Peter Breuer and, above all, the exceptional dancer Vladimir Malakhov.

Vienna Dance Centre – 37 years of passion for dance!

For over three decades, the Vienna Dance Centre has been one of Vienna’s leading dance institutions. In June 2020, we opened our new, spacious studio in the 22nd district – offering dancers of all levels an inspiring environment to live their passion in over 1500 m².
Our roots lie in ballet, jazz dance and modern/contemporary dance, but 25 years ago we were the first dance studio in Vienna to bring hip hop and breaking from the streets to the studio stage. Today, we cover a wide range of dance styles – from children’s courses to professional dance training and successful contest teams.
Our highly qualified instructors are not only experts in their field, but also true dance enthusiasts. With enthusiasm and dedication, they accompany each dancer on their individual journey – whether it’s for the big stage or just for fun.
