1st Training Seminar Classical Ballet, March 2025

The 1st training seminar on CLASSICAL BALLET took place on 1 and 2 March 2025 in St. Pölten.

The ÖTR’s seminar had been postponed to March 2025 because the ballet and seminar rooms at Europaballett St. Pölten were unusable: the flooding on 9 September severely damaged the premises of the Ballet Academy/Europaballett. After successful renovation work it could, happily, take place again in the studios at Oriongasse.

The seminar discusses the fundamentals and practices of classical ballet for today. Whether for amateurs or professionals, anatomical knowledge and insights are essential for a broader understanding of this genre. The discussion regarding classical ballet training in Austria has become so diverse that this seminar (ÖTR training) is considered necessary for the creation of the ÖTR Quality Seal.
